Why I choose Puppy as a base?
After almost a year of trying live distros on distrowatch, i have fixed now my choice on puppylinux and i was really impressed by it's performances and usability.
with flexxxpup i customized the interface so it be less minimalistic and more welcoming.
otherway some ubuntu version like Ultumix, Ultimate edition, Comfusion are welldone, but the desktop performance are very low usually compared puppy one.
I was liking MNC Live Mandriva but the project has been left by it's creator.
Pc linux Os, i really liked it when i newer to linux; later somehow it was reminding me too much of an XP collage interface so i didn't find the point to stuck on it even after trying some good unofficial remasters.
Actually i was more impressed by 3d effects first avalaible on ubuntu pclinux os and fedora but i was still missing the sensation i feel i have control of the distro and not the reversal, i mean i felt like following their way of evolving and the few changes i could made on didn't really feel to me i personalized it at my convenience.
With puppy I'm Satisfied. Try it, try my version!!
