asterLive is a Linux Live CD distribution based on Debian Etch 4.0 with Asterisk and all the products of the asterTools suite. A routine to install the system to the hard disk is also included.

To build a stable Linux system with Asterisk on it was never so easy before, the target of asterLive was, to build a rugged standard Debian Etch 4.0, Asterisk 1.4 including add-ons with all the products of asterTools in less than 30 minutes. asterTools support all major telephone cards that can be used within Asterisk. The installation needs less than 500 MB on the Hard Disk. asterLive can be used as live cd without installation.

After starting up the CD (or the installation) you have a standard Debian Etch 4.0, Asterisk 1.4 including the add-ons, MySQL database, Apache and php5. It includes also asterBoard and IVAN from the asterTools suite, all the applications are ready to use.
