Wakawa MATE For Linux

Wakawa MATE is an open source and customizable Linux operating system based on the testing branch of the Debian GNU/Linux Sid distribution and built around the lightweight, extra fast, traditional and productive MATE desktop environment.

This custom Debian operating system can be downloaded directly from its official website or via Softpedia as Live DVD ISO image of approximately 1.5GB in size each, deployable on either 32-bit or 64-bit instruction set architectures. The user must write the ISO images to DVD discs or USB flash drives in order to boot them from the BIOS of a PC.

The minimal boot menu will help newcomers to start the live environment with default boot options and drivers or in safe graphics mode, run a system memory diagnostic test, as well as to boot an existing operating system from the first disk drive.
