Ultimate Desktop Linux aims to create a Linux distribution that provides an up-to-date and coherent Linux system for desktop/laptop computing.
It includes a number of carefully selected packages from the Ubuntu distribution and retains its powerful package management system which allows easy installation and clean removal of programs.
Whether you use it at home, at school or at work this OS contains all the applications you'll ever need, from Office Suite to programming tools, multimedia applications etc. Ultimate Desktop comes in a Live+Install DVD (about 2.5GB), so you can even test it just by booting your PC/Laptop from the DVD.
Ultimate Desktop will always be free of charge for use in Brainware.
User Accounts
Default username to login is system & password is nopassword. Use the same user while installing.
Installation
The boot menu of Ultimate Desktop DVD gives an option to install it. In the live environment there is a installation icon in the desktop. Installation process is similar to Ubuntu. Just follow the wizard.
