TurnKey PrestaShop Live CD13.0
TurnKey PrestaShop Live CD is an open source project based on the highly acclaimed and award winning Debian GNU/Linux operating system and designed to act as an easy-to-use appliance for quickly deploying dedicated servers with the PrestaShop application.
PrestaShop is an open source, easy to use and popular e-commerce software specifically designed for small and medium-sizes online shops. The appliance includes all the upstream PrestaShop configurations, which are installed in /var/www/prestashop, SEO friendly URLs, and pre-configure administration interface that can be accessed with the https://$your_domain/administration link.
The operating system also features out-of-the-box support for secure connections using the SSL (Secire Sockets Layer) specification, the phpMyAdmin program for easy administration of MySQL databases, a Postfix mail server for sending emails to users, and Webmin modules for configuring Apache, PHP, MySQL and Postfix.
The default username for the Webmin, MySQL, phpMyAdmin and SSH components is root. During the first boot configuration process, users will be able to set a password for the admin (root) account, as well as to set a new password for the MySQL 'root' account.
In addition, you must set a new password and valid email address for the PrestaShop 'firstname.lastname@example.org' account, and enter the domain to server PrestaShop. Optionally, it is possible to enable various TurnKey Hub services.
At the end of the first boot configuration process, users will be able to view the active services and write down their IP addresses and ports. The server can be restarted or shutdown from the TurnKey Linux Configuration Console.
The appliance is distributed as Live CD ISO image that allows users to install the appliance on a local disk drive using the text-mode installer, or just try it using the demo mode provided on the boot prompt. Additionally, you can get read-to-use virtual images for the Xen, OpenStack, OVF, OpenNode and OpenVZ virtualization technologies from the project's homepage.
