TurnKey PHP-Nuke Live CD13.0
TurnKey PHP-Nuke Live CD is a free and open source project based on the award winning and highly acclaimed Debian GNU/Linux operating system and built around the PHP-Nuke software. It provides users with an easy-to-use appliance for deploying dedicated PHP-Nuke servers with minimum effort.
PHP-Nuke is an open source CMS (Content Management System) and news automated system designed especially for Internet and Intranets. The appliance includes all of the upstream PHP-Nuke configurations, which are installed by default in /var/www/phpnuke.
Key features include a Postfix MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) for sending email messages to users, such as password recovery, Webmin modules for configuring MySQL, PHP, Postfix and Apache, the phpMyAdmin software for managing MySQL databases, and support for secure connections.
You will be able to download this appliance as Live CD ISO images, which can be burned onto CD discs or writte to USB flash drives, and install it on a local disk drive. In addition, virtual images in the OVF, Xen, OpenVZ, OpenNode and OpenStack formats are available for download from the project's homepage.
The appliance can be installed using the ISO images on the 64-bit and 32-bit architectures. The entire installation process takes a few minutes and requires users to only partition the disk and set up the boot loader.
While the default username for the Postfix, MySQL, SSH and Webmin components is root, the default PHP-Nuke username is admin. You will need to set up passwords for these accounts during the first boot configuration process. In addition, it is a must to enter a valid email address for the PHP-Nuke 'admin' account.
Optionally, you can initialize the TurnKey Backup and Migration, as well as TurnKey Domain Management and Dynamic DNS services after the installation process. The IP addresses and ports of the active PHP-Nuke appliance services are displayed at the end of the first boot setup wizard.
