TurnKey Concrete5 Live CD is an open source distribution of Linux based on the Debian GNU/Linux operating system and designed from the ground up to be used by people who are looking for a free and easy-to-use solution for deploying dedicated Concrete5 servers.

Concrete5 is an open source next generation CMS (Content Management System) that allows anyone to run a website in minutes, with minimal knowledge. The appliance comes with all of the upstream Concrete5 configurations, which are installed by default in /var/www/concrete5.

Key features include out-of-the-box support for secure connection using the latest SSL specifications, the phpMyAdmin software for easy management of MySQL databases, a Postfix mail server for sending email messages to users, and Webmin modules for configuring PHP, MySQL, Apache and Postfix.

It is distributed as two Live CD ISO images, which have been designed to allow users to test the appliance before installing it. However, it can be easily installed by writing the ISO image to a USB thumb drive or blank CD discs and boot it from the BIOS of your computer.

When using this TurnKey appliance, users should keep in mind that the Posfix MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) is bound to localhost and the phpMyAdmin administration front-end uses SSL and listens on port 12322.

Furthermore, the default username for the MySQL, SSH, Webmin and phpMyAdmin components is root, and the Concrete5 username is admin. The installation process is text-based and will require users to only choose a partitioning scheme and where to install the bootloader.

After installation, it is a must to enter new passwords for the root (system administrator) and MySQL 'root' accounts, as well as to set a valid email address and password for the Concrete5 'admin' account. Don't forget to write down the IP addresses and ports of the SSH, Web Shell, phpMyAdmin, SFTP and Webmin services.
