As its name suggests, Turbolinux Client is a client for the Turbolinux Server operating system. It provides users with an easy to install and use distribution of Linux that’s built around the KDE desktop environment, suitable for Chinese and Japanese users.
The Turbolinux Client is available for download as a dual-arch Live CD ISO image that supports both 32-bit (i386) and 64-bit (amd64) hardware platforms. It has approximately 700MB in size and can be written on a CD disc or a USB thumb drive.
When booting the operating system from the BIOS of a PC, the user will encounter a minimal boot menu that allows them to start the live system with default drivers or by using a simple mode.
As mentioned, Turbolinux Client uses KDE as its default and only desktop environment, which comprises of a panel located on the bottom edge of the screen. The panel can be used for launching applications and interacting with running programs.
