The distribution can be downloaded via Softpedia or directly from its official homepage (see link above) as a Live DVD ISO image that will support only 32-bit applications.
However, it can run on either 64-bit (x86_64) or 32-bit (i386) hardware platforms. The user must write the ISO image to either a DVD disc or a USB flash drive in order to boot it from the BIOS of a PC.

There are many open source applications pre-installed on the Leaf edition of SymplyOS, among which we can mention the Mozilla Firefox web browser, Dolphin file manager, Amarok audio player, Akregator news reader, KTorrent torrent downloader, KMail email client, Kate text editor, and K3b CD/DVD/BD burning software.
