SymplyOS Leaf 13.9 For Linux

SymplyOS Leaf is an open source distribution of Linux based on the openSUSE operating system and built around the KDE Plasma desktop environment. It is developed with the SUSE Studio tool.

The distribution can be downloaded via Softpedia or directly from its official homepage (see link above) as a Live DVD ISO image that will support only 32-bit applications.

However, it can run on either 64-bit (x86_64) or 32-bit (i386) hardware platforms. The user must write the ISO image to either a DVD disc or a USB flash drive in order to boot it from the BIOS of a PC.

The beautiful boot prompt implemented in this Live CD provides users with the ability to start the live environment with default boot options or in safe graphics mode, boot an existing operating system from the first disk drive, as well as to run a memory diagnostic test.

The default and only desktop environment of this openSUSE-based operating system is KDE Plasma, which comprises of a single taskbar located on the bottom edge of the screen, from where the user can launch applications or interact with running programs.
