Sharp OS For Linux

Sharp OS is an open source distribution of Linux based on the LXDE edition of the world’s most popular free operating system, Lubuntu, providing an enhanced remix of Ubuntu with an emphasis on reliability, low hardware consumption and high performance, without compromising its looks.

You can downloaded this OS from Softpedia or its official website (see link above) as a single Live DVD ISO images that supports only 64-bit hardware platforms. However, keep in mind that you must burn it onto a blank DVD disc or write it on a USB flash drive of 2GB or higher capacity in order to boot it from the BIOS of a PC.

The Live DVD offers a standard boot prompt that can be found in many other Ubuntu-based operating systems, allowing the user to boot the live environment with default options or in safe graphics mode, directly start the graphical installer, run the Memtest86+ utility to check the RAM for errors, as well as to boot an existing operating system from the first disk.
