Safe Internet for kids wx2.0
Distributed as an archived Live USB ISO image
This special distribution is distributed as a zip archive that contains a Live USB ISO image of approximately 1GB in size and a readme.txt file with detailed instructions on how to use and/or install the operating system.
Therefore, the ISO image is not compatible with CD-ROM devices and must be written to a USB flash drive of 1GB or higher capacity in order to boot it from the BIOS of a computer.
A Debian-based OS built around Mozilla Firefox
As mentioned, the main emphasis of this Debian-based OS is on keeping your children safe from the dangers of the Internet. It is a browser-only operating system built around the widely used Mozilla Firefox web browser.
The distro boots directly into the Firefox browser, which has been highly customized with various add-ons that will filter the Internet content. The kids can use it to search Bing or Google, chat on Facebook, listen to music on YouTube, etc.
The most secure and safe environment for your kids
As its name suggests, Safe Internet for kids is the most secure and safe environment for your kids when they are using a computer to browse the Internet. It doesn't require any installation and keeps their privacy intact.
All in all, Safe Internet for kids is a stable, reliable and very secure computer operating system based on the Instant WebKiosk OS, which in turn is based on the Debian GNU/Linux distro, but designed to provide adult content filtering functionality, protecting your kids from the dangers of the Internet.
