Partylog2 is an open source Graylog2 software appliance based on the highly acclaimed TurnKey distribution of Linux, which in turn is based on the award winning Debian GNU/Linux operating system.

Graylog2 is an open source software that enables users to unleash the power that lays inside their logs. It can be used to run analytics, monitoring, alerting and powerful searches over your entire log base.

This TurnKey-based appliance is available for download as a dual-arch Live CD ISO image of approximately 250MB in size, deployable on 32-bit (i386) or 64-bit (x86_64) hardware platforms.

The distro features the same boot menu that is used on all TurnKey Linux ISO images, allowing the user to try the appliance without installing anything on their computer, as well as to start the text-mode installer directly.

The text-mode installer is easy to use, requiring users to only partition the disk and install the bootloader. After installation, the system is ready to boot, allowing you to enter a new password for the root (system administrator) account.

Optionally, you’ll be able to enable the TurnKey Backup and Migration and/or TurnKey Domain Management and Dynamic DNS services. Then, you must select the geographic area in which you live, as well as the city or region corresponding to your timezone.

After this first time configuration, you can immediately start managing your logs without the need to configure anything else or execute some sort of external application.
