Distributed as a 64-bit Live DVD
It is distributed as a Live DVD ISO image that can only be deployed on DVD discs or USB thumb drives of 4GB or higher capacity, which can be used to boot the operating system from the BIOS of the PC. Supported hardware platforms include 64-bit (amd64 or x86_64).
It uses the same boot loader that can be found on other Linux Royal editions, allowing the user to start the live session with default options or in safe graphics mode, boot an existing OS from the first disk drive, run a system memory test, as well as to directly install the
Three graphical environment into a single Live DVD
Unfortunately, the bootable medium will drop users to a login prompt where they must type the "royal" username (without quotes) and hit the Enter key to access one of the pre-installed graphical environments (GNOME, GNOME Classic, Cinnamon and XMBC), which can be selected from the display manager.
All of them include the same collection of applications, among which we can mention HotShots, PlayOnLinux, Mozilla Firefox, FileZilla, Google Chrome, Pidgin, Remmina, Mozilla Thunderbird, Transmission, Adobe Reader, LibreOffice, FF Multi Converter, Audacity, Rhythmbox, DeVeDe, Netflix Desktop, OpenShot, RecordMyDesktop, VLC Media Player, Oracle VirtualBox, K3b, BleachBit and k9copy.
Summing up, Linux Royal LTS Full is the edition that everyone should download and use, as it includes multiple desktop environments and a plethora of open source applications. Also, do not hesitate to test the KDE, MATE and Xfce editions of this Debian-based operating system.
