Imagineos (formerly GoblinX) is a bootable Live CD Linux distribution based on Slackware.
The primary goal for Imagineos is to create a more pleasant and functional desktop, standardising all icons and themes to make it easy for novice users to learn about available applications.
magineos is born from GoblinX Linux following the same path started more than five years ago. This first version is based on Slackware 13.1 with more applications and features, however it is a livecd created by using Linux live scripts with few modifications.
The Imagineos uses XFCE as desktop manager. This is the first public release and even though is based on Slackware stable it must be consider a beta edition. Thanks for everyone for making this release possible, including the artists whose gentily let us use their images as wallpapers, everyone helping and working on open source applications and every GoblinX old user.
