The OS supports both 32-bit and 64-bit hardware platforms
As the distro is available for download as a dual-arch Live CD ISO image, it will be bootable on either of the 32-bit (i386) and 64-bit (x86_64) instruction set architectures.
As usual, you must first burn the ISO image to a blank CD disc or a USB thumb drive of 1GB or higher capacity in order to boot it from the BIOS of a computer.
It’s translated in four languages
From the boot menu, the user can choose between one of the available languages. These include English, Spanish, Catalan and Galician. Each of them include the same boot options, such as the ability to start the live system with default drivers or in safe mode, choose between different video options, as well as to start the installer directly and access various useful utilities.
Uses a lightweight graphical desktop environment powered by IceWM
The distribution uses a lightweight graphical desktop environment that is powered by IceWM. It features a traditional layout comprised of a single taskbar located on the bottom edge of the screen.
It contains a carefully tuned selection of applications
The operating system contains a carefully tuned selection of applications, trying to maintain a good balance between the distro’s functionality ease of use and speed.
Among some of the most important ones, we can mention Iceweasel and Midor web browser, Transmission torrent downloader, AbiWord word processor, Gnumeric spreadsheet editor, Audacious audio player and Fotoxx image editor.
Summing up, GALPon MiniNo is a really fast and low on resources distribution of Linux suitable for low-end machines and computers with old hardware components.

- We have prepared some extremely easy scripts (Menu -> Minino Tools -> Computer room) used to install PicarOS in a computer room.
