Currently based on Ubuntu, Descent|OS's mission is to provide an environment everybody can use. Descent|OS utilizes the GNOME 2 Desktop Environment for functionality, and is prettied up and utilized for everyone's needs. We aim to modernize the GNOME 2 desktop as much as possible, and we hope you will enjoy this mix of old and new!
