DeLi Linux For Linux

DeLi Linux is an open source and free distribution of Linux that provides users with a very minimal computer operating system, which can be mainly used for general system administration purposes.

The operating system can be downloaded in multiple editions, as ISO images that contain the core or full system, as well as four minimalistic images suitable for floppy disks (boot, root, mod and scsimod).

While the floppy images must be written on floppy disks, you can burn either of the two ISO images to CD discs using any CD/DVD burning software in order to boot the live system from the BIOS of a computer.

The user must press the Enter key on his or her keyboard on the boot prompt in order to start the live system and access the pre-installed programs. If you need to add extra kernel parameters, enter them at the boot prompt after the name of the kernel to boot and then press Enter.

In most cases, the default kernel will automatically detect and configure your hardware components, but if some of them are not working properly, reboot and enter different kernel parameters.

As mentioned, this is a minimal distribution of Linux that can be mainly used for basic system administration. It includes several command-line utilities that can be viewed using the help command at the shell prompt.

Unfortunately, DeLi Linux has been discontinued and it will no longer be maintained with software updates or security patches, which forces us to warn our users not to install it on production machines. It has been archived for historical purposes only!
