Dax OS Desktop is an open source and easy-to-use distribution of Linux based on Ubuntu. It includes a set of programs and configurations that helps users to take full advantage of their computers. It’s designed for Spanish-speaking users and uses the Enlightenment desktop environment.

Available for download as a 32-bit Live DVD

The distribution can be downloaded through Softpedia’s secure servers or directly from the project’s website as a 32-bit Live DVD ISO image that will run on either 32-bit (i386) or 64-bit (x86_64) computers, but supports only 32-bit applications.

Boot options

When booting the ISO image from the BIOS of a PC, the user will encounter a boot screen that allows him or her to start the live environment with default boot options or in safe graphics mode, start the installer directly, perform a system memory test, and boot an existing operating system from the first disk drive.
