Calculate Linux Directory Server 11.15

Calculate Linux is a Russian Gentoo-based Linux distribution and Live DVD designed to be easy to use, install and update on any number of computers.

Two editions are available: Calculate Linux Desktop (CLD) and Calculate Directory Server (CDS).

Calculate Directory Server is the free operating system, based on Gentoo, which represented by itself the LDAP-server for centralized storage of the settings applications, user accounts and access licences in the single network storage.

To configure and administer the server using the package Calculate-server.

Ability:

1. The user authorization with the storage of the setting seance on the server are centralized.
2. The support of storage for Samba, Mail, ftp, jabber and proxy services accounts in the LDAP.
3. Comfortable administration of LDAP server via the unix-like commands: cl-useradd, cl-usermod, cl-passwd, cl-groupmod etc.
4. The supports of replication for mail and samba servers.
5. The centralized update of servers and working station.
6. Creation of reserve copies for accounts with applications settings and rebuilding from them.
7. The ability to work from livecd with full booting in the memory.
8. The support of following langueges: English, Spain, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish and French.
9. The support of installation on HDD and USB-HDD with file-system: ext4, ext3, ext2, reiserfs, xfs and jfs.

Installation:
· Added support for selecting the network manager between OpenRC and NetworkManager.
· Added support of network configuration to the console installer.

Booting:
· For better support the devices and booting speed up Udev has been integrated into initramfs livecd.
· Grub2 is the boot loader by default.
· Added detection of installed operating systems.

Graphics:
· Added screen splash auto-resolution.
· Added video driver choice menu. Additionally the nouveau and the proprietary ati driver are supported.
· Free video driver with support for KMS are used by default.
· Nvidia is no longer a pre-driver and is installed on demain at first boot.

· Used XZ compression format for livecd image.
· Using the hybrid ISO images with support for recording to CD and USB Flash.
· To Calculate Scratch Server set up a repository of binary packages.

Other:
· Added integration with the Web service http://pastebin.calculate-linux.org.
· In the CDS adds support for storing the history of e-mail letters.
· Shorewall has been included in the CDS for the firewall configuration.
· Added support for Portuguese and Romanian languages​​.
