You can download the Australis Mate operating system from Softpedia or straight from the project’s homepage (see link above) as a single, dual-arch Live DVD ISO image of approximately 2GB in size, designed to be used on both 32-bit (i386) and 64-bit (x86_64) computers.
Features a standard bootloader on the Live DVD
Being based on Ubuntu, the OS features a standard bootloader on the Live DVD, designed to allow the user to start the live system with default boot options and drivers or in safe graphics mode with a basic video driver.
In addition, it is possible to start the installation and install the distro on a local drive, run a system memory diagnostic test, as well as to boot an existing operating system from the first disk drive detected by the BIOS.

In order to use the graphical session, you must first login using the “linux” username without any password.
