Australis Mate 1.6 LTS For Linux

Australis Mate is an open source Live Linux distribution derived from the world’s most popular free operating system, Ubuntu, built around the classic MATE desktop environment and designed from the ground up to provide an out-of-the-box experience for new Linux users.

You can download the Australis Mate operating system from Softpedia or straight from the project’s homepage (see link above) as a single, dual-arch Live DVD ISO image of approximately 2GB in size, designed to be used on both 32-bit (i386) and 64-bit (x86_64) computers.

Being based on Ubuntu, the OS features a standard bootloader on the Live DVD, designed to allow the user to start the live system with default boot options and drivers or in safe graphics mode with a basic video driver.
