Arch Linux ARM is an open source project derived from the famous Arch Linux operating system, a rolling distribution, engineered for the ARM architecture.

Arch Linux ARM supports numerous ARM platforms, including OLinuXino, Kirkwood, AllWinner, BeagleBone, Exynos, i.MX6, OMAP3, OMAP4, Tegra2 TrimSlice, Zynq Zedboard, Armada, PLX OxNAS, and PXA168/910.

The distribution uses a specific Linux kernel and software configured to supports ARM processors from version 5 to version 7. It is distributed as generic img files, tar archived.

Because of the continuous collaboration with Arch Linux, this Linux distribution provides the best platform, the newest packages, and installation support.
