picoNet is a tool for implementing an ad hoc multihop routing protocol for IP on Linux.
picoNet is a tool for implementing an ad hoc multihop routing protocol for IP on Linux which will allow a dynamic network of mobile devices to be self-organizing and self-configuring.

Requirements:

linux 2.4 or above



BUILD AND INSTALL:

build:

to build, look at the makefile and make the appropriate chages and just type make. put the resulting module in /lib/modules/linux-XXX/whateveruwant and type depmod -a

install::

to install, use insmod or modprobe. modinfo can be used to find out usage info on the module. there are two parameters for the module, ifname and gw. ifname is the interface name and it defaults to eth0 and gw is gateway mode and it defaults 0 which is off.

make sure the network interface is up before installing the dsr module.
some statistics info can be found at /proc/dsr
