mpath-tools 1.0.0

Failover and load balancing between multiple ISP made easy
mpath-tools is a set of programs for linux 2.6+ that aim to facilitate load balancing and failover over multiple and heterogeneous ISP connections.

mpath-tools is distributed under the terms of the GNU LGPL v2.1 license.

Installation:

1/ run "php install.php", you have to use version 5.3 or newer
2/ go to /etc/mpath-tools and edit the config files according to your setup
3/ add the following entries to your /etc/iproute2/rt_* files :

rt_protos :

# mpathd
#
200 mpathd

rt_realms :

#
# local
#
1 gateway1
2 gateway2
# use your gateway names as defined in mpathd.conf instead of "gateway1" and
# "gateway2", also you may add more than 2 if needed.

rt_tables :

3/ setup your iptables rules (see comments in sample rules.conf)
4/ run "mpathd"
5/ if successful, check if everything works with "mpath show gateways"
