Features at a glance
Key features include the ability to calculate sum of set members and do a match of the sets using the final count, support for colorized output, support for working with a single set, multiple sets of selected sets, the ability to match members using regex or globbing patterns, support for displaying members of a certains set, as well as the ability to do arithmetic comparisons on member options values.
Additionally, it is possible to display only the sets that contain a certain header (glob matching), select a delimiter character that can be used for dividing members, do arithmetic comparisons on the headers that have an integer value, abolish listing of headers (glob matching) and members that match a regular expression of glob pattern, calculate the total amount of traversed and matching sets, as well as the total size in memory of all matching sets.
Under the hood and availability
ipset_list is a GNU/Linux command-line software written entirely in the Unix Shell programming language. It can only be used on a Linux system from a console environment, such as an X11 terminal emulator or a TTY (Teletype). It’s available for download as a universal sources archive, which means that it can be installed on virtually any distribution of Linux by configuring and compiling the program. Both 32-bit and 64-bit instruction set architectures are supported at this time.
