GNU MAC Changer is an open source command-line software that provides an utility for changing the hardware (MAC) addresses of network interfaces found on a LAN (Local Area Network).

GNU MAC Changer can be used to set specific, vendor-based, random, and device-type-based MACs. It can also be used in a DHCP network with IP-based restrictions, as well as to debug MAC-based routes.

With GNU MAC Changer, you can also display a vendor MAC list, with thousands of items to choose from. The utility can be used on all UNIX-like operating systems.
