    WMon description

    WMon is a web monitor, which regularly checks one or more URLs, and notifies the user when these have changed. This project is licensed under GPL.

    When first started, WMon creates the data directory (~/.wmon for the GTK+ version, and wmon-data in the current directory on Windows) and adds a sample config file. The config syntax should be quite straight-forward. The interval is in seconds. A url line specifies a normal HTML document, and a binurl line denotes that the document is binary and no textual diffs should be made. That line is unnecessary on Windows, where no diffs are made, due to the lack of lynx and diff.

    The GTK+ version uses the system tray protocol from freedesktop.org; the implemention lies in eggtrayicon.c by Anders Carlsson. The web browser to start is hardcoded in main.cpp. It requires that wget, lynx, diff and md5sum are installed.

    · GTK+ >= 2.0
