RRDBot is an SNMP polling daemon which writes the polled values to an RRD database. The project can poll many different SNMP sources in an efficient manner.

It has no large external dependencies, and its configuration is stored in text files. It has full support for MIB definition files and using textual MIBs instead of numerical OIDs.

RRDBot also contains tools to simplify the creation of RRD files, and the various archives contained in them.

Requirements:

RRDtool

What's New in This Release:

An assertion when reallocating SNMP request memory was fixed.
A bug with the asynchronous resolver when daemonizing was fixed.

Asynchronous resolving was fixed on FreeBSD.
A bug where rrdbot-create ignored the '-c' argument was fixed.
The PID file is now removed when exiting.
A bug where config files are not enumerated on ReiserFS was fixed.
