Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG project is an open source 802.11a/b/g driver for the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection.

This project was created by Intel to enable support for the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection adapter. This project (IPW3945) is intended to be a community effort as much as is possible. As with our other wireless adapters, there are some working constraints related to documentation we can make publicly available.

The 1.1.0 stable version (any version ending in .0 is 'stable') is available from Intel's Laptop Products page.

· Full B and G rate support
· Full A rate support (ABG only)
· Transmit power control
· S state support (ACPI suspend/resume)

Working but not officially supported features "Intel PRO Wireless 3945ABG":

· QoS
· Monitor mode (aka RFMon)
· Associated RF promiscuous mode
· Frame Rx simulation
