Yabause For Linux

Yabause is an open source and free graphical software that has been created from the ground up to act as an emulator utility for Sega Saturn, a 32-bit video game console released in 1994 by SEGA. The software can boot games using ISO files or the original Saturn CDs (Compact Discs).

The application offers a user-friendly graphical interface designed in GTK+. It supports numerous Sega Saturn games, among which we can mention 3D Baseball, Hanagumi Taisen Columns, Wachenroder, Quarterback Attack, 3D Lemmings, After Burner II, Arcana Strikes, Astal, Astra Superstars, Asuka 120% Burning Fest. Limited, Atelier Marie, and Albert Odyssey.

The, Alien Trilogy, Athlete Kings, Baku Baku Animal, Baroque, Batman Forever, Batsugun, Battle Arena Toshinden Remix, Black/Matrix, Blazing Dragons, Blazing heroes, Bottom of the 9th, Brain Dead 13, Break Point Tennis, Bubble Bobble, Bust A Move 2, Capcom Generation 5, Clockwork Knight, Cotton 2, Cotton Boomerang, Criticom, Cyber Speedway, and Cyberbots are also supported.

Yabause is a true cross-platform application that has been successfully tested under several GNU/Linux distributions, as well as on the FreeBSD, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. While the software can also be run on the Dreamcast, Wii and PSP gaming consoles, it supports both 32 and 64-bit computer platforms.
