Typhon is a slim and themeable OpenGL-based dashboard and program launcher. It’s meant to be easily used on Linux HTPCs. Starting with version 0.7 it is also an emulator launcher.

  • create your own themes
  • use themes of other frontends, f.e. unleashx, mala or directly p3ts
  • switch themes on the fly
  • use installed screensavers or some movies as background visuals
  • adjust all colors and sizes individually

  • en-/disable several builtin opengl “bars” as decoration
  • real transparency
  • windowmanager independant
  • display several systeminformations in your theme
  • rotate the whole screen or just parts of it into any direction (3D)
