s6-linux-utils is an open source and free software that contains the Linux-specific versions of the s6 command-line utilities, which provide a minimalist set of Linux system tools.

s6-linux-utils is comprised of the following command-line programs: s6-chroot, s6-devd, s6-freeramdisk, s6-halt, s6-hiercopy, s6-hostname, s6-logwatch, s6-mount, s6-pivotchroot, s6-poweroff, s6-reboot, s6-swapoff, s6-swapon, and s6-umount.

s6 is an open source suite for command-line utilities that can be used by system administrator for secure supervision tasks, specifically for runit and daemontools.
