What's new in iNA 0.4.2:

  • Parameter scans (since 0.4) - Obtain statistical measures such as coefficient of variations, Fano factors as well as means and variances of concentrations from the linear noise approximation, higher-order corrections or time-averaged stochastic simulations.
  • Conserved quantities - Analyze the conservation laws of your model in iNA.
  • Plot editor - A new plot editor for high quality visualization allows to customize and edit all existing plots in iNA. You can add or delete any graph from simulation data without the hazzle of replotting.
  • OpenMP support for MacOS X - Make full use your resources and perform analysis and simulations on multiple cores automatically and in parallel.

iNA (Intrinsic Noise Analyzer) is an open source graphical software written in Qt and designed to act as an analytic utility, quantifying fluctuations in biochemical networks.

Intrinsic Noise Analyzer is capable of computing Linear Noise Approximation (LNA), as well as more accurate approximations automatically obtained from the system size expansion of a SBML (Systems Biology Markup Language) file.

Being written in Qt, iNA is a cross-platform tool that supports Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.
