SPIW is an open source toolbox for MATLAB, developed especially for automated processing of scanning probe microscope images.

SPIW is able to work with all SPM images. However, the main focus is on images with molecular or atomic resolution.

At the moment, SPIW relies on the MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox. In order to install this project, please follow the official Installation guide or see the Installation PDF, which is located in the 'Install' folder of the SPIW archive.

SPIW was development by Julian Stirling and Richard A.J. Woolley. Please see the official User Guide for more details.
