M3D is a 3D Mandelbrot and Julia Set viewer utility written in Java.

Viewing mandelbrot set:

left click zoom in (both mandelbrot and julia) right click zoom out (both mandelbrot and julia) hold ctrl down while moving mouse over mandelbrot to display associated julia set Viewing 3D model (camera controls):

left click and drag mouse to look around x - back s - forward z - pan left c - pan right q - up a - down 0-9 change renderer

What's new in M3D 1.1.5:

Fixed 3D model of bhuddabrot plots
UI Change: A rendered julia set can now be explored when the bhuddabrot equation is selected (previously disabled).
UI Change: Changing the colour model will immediately update any displayed plot(s), and will cause any previously rendered 3D model to be regenerated.
