What's new in AcouSTO 1.6:

  • Gmsh ASCII mesh format v2.2 accepted in input for domain boundary and field microphones.
  • Output produced also in Gmsh ASCII format v2.2 for boundary and microphones.
  • Memory estimate available also for multiple processes (approximate estimate).
  • Major memory leak in allocation of BC for multi-frequency analysis fixed.

AcouSTO is an open source software designed as a solver for the Kirchhoff-Helmholtz Integral Equation (KHIE). It is based on the Boundary Element Method (BEM).

Being written in C, AcouSTO incorporates a MPI-based preliminary parallelization scheme and an enhanced memory management system, which can be used to control RAM allocation.
