iCalc is a text calculator with very many functions, memory, and mathematical constants recognition. It can be run in its own window, or in a terminal.

So far, iCalc can do adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, exponents, logarithms (natural), has pi and pi*2 recognition, memory, and has built in help.
