TreeSap 1.0

TreeSap is a tool that introduces a simple querying, that uses English phrases instead of numerical measurements.
TreeSap introduces simple yet powerful qualitative querying: rather than specifying a query using numerical measurements ("within 5km") English phrases are used ("near"). In-built fuzzy logic handles vagueness producing results with weighted relevance.

TreeSap is made up of the following components:

GUI
Responsible for the windows-based interface into the TreeSap system

Model
Represents the underlying TreeSap system, describing data structures (such as queries and spatial features), and processing utilities (such as the core query processor

Qualitative Spatiotemporal Reasoning (QSTR)
TreeSap's query processor accesses the relation network implemented in the spatiotemporal package, to facilitate the advanced query support

GeoTools
A Java based GIS toolkit that implements the standards set out by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), the leading authority on software based GIS protocols provides a standard GIS framework for dealing with features, and provides rendering support

Java Topology Suite (JTS)
Provides a spatial object framework along with fundamental geometric functions, as specified by OGC, and is produced by Vivid Solutions

Orbital
Defines a framework for AI algorithms

JGoodies
Provides the GUI look and feel
