Illumination Software Creator is a program that allows you to visually build your own software, in your own way.
Think of it like the building blocks you played with as a kid. You know what it is you want to build, now all you need to do is figure out how to piece together those magical little plastic, colored blocks from your bucket to make the thing you want to build.
That is a fully functional piece of software — A slightly more advanced “Hello World” type example that displays a single message when a button is clicked on a custom window.
In order to create a new application, all you need to do is think through what you want that application to do and add in, and link together, the “blocks” to make that happen. It is so easy to use, anyone can do it: From school kids to grandparents, Illumination makes creating software accessible to everyone in an easy to learn way.
Illumination Software Creator allows you to build the user interface and logic of your software quickly, in a 100% visual environment. Then, when you’re ready to distribute your software, you can export it to an already existing language and framework.
Simply put: Create your new software once. Then make it available as a desktop application (that can run on Linux, Windows and MacOS X) and an internet tablet application (for Nokia N-series Internet Tablets).
Illumination Software Creator currently supports the following build options:
* Python GTK-based Desktop Application
* Python GTK-based Nokia N800/N810/N900 Tablet Application
· The trial version of Illumination can be used as long as you like and is only limited by the number of “blocks” you can use at once.
