C-KIT-GUI-GTK For Linux

C-KIT-GUI-GTK is an open source, free and cross-platform software project implemented in C around the GTK+ GUI toolkit and designed from the offset to be used as a user interface abstraction layer for C programs, simplifying the design of Graphical User Interfaces.

Key features include the ability to completely separate the GUI (Graphical User Interface) from the application (making it independent from the GUI system), provides full OpenGL integration, offers various sample programs, as well as support for both GTK2 (Windows and Linux) and GTK3 (Linux only) toolkits. C-KIT-GUI-GTK’s functions use standard data types and have a unified callback interface.

The program is written entirely in the C programming language and uses the GTK+ GUI toolkit for its graphical user interface, which means that it supports all GNU/Linux distributions. The application has been successfully tested with the Microsoft Windows operating system.

The gCAD3D application, written by the same author, uses the C-KIT-GUI-GTK software package, which is available for download as an all-in-one archive that contains both the source code and pre-built files for 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x86_64) instruction set architectures.

To install or use this C library on your GNU/Linux system, you should first download the latest version from Softpedia, where it is distributed as a tar.gz file. Save the archive on your computer, unpack it with the default archive manager tool, and simply use the pre-built files for either 32-bit or 64-bit instruction set architectures.
