grunt is a preprocessor along the lines of m4, only with support for tables.

Requirements:

· Perl 5
· gmake (usually make under linux)
· egcs (gcc 2.8.1)
· libstdc++ 2.8.1.1

Installation:

In theory, it should be possible to compile this under gcc 2.7.2 with the 2.7.2 version of libstdc++ (it was, after all, written for the EMX version of this compiler and library). But I've had a hard enough time getting it to compile under my current Linux environment, and I really don't have time to make it happen on the old environment.

Copy Makefile.linux to Makefile. Type make. Type make install.
