libcloud is a standard client library for many popular cloud providers, written in Python.
libcloud is a pure python client library for interacting with many of the popular cloud server providers. It was created to make it easy for developers to build products that work between any of the services that it supports.
libcloud was originally created by the folks over at Cloudkick, but has since grown into an independent free software project licensed under the Apache License (2.0).

· This version includes many improvements and new drivers, but the most important thing is a brand new DNS API.
· This API allows users to manage DNS services provided by many different providers.
· This release includes a driver for Linode DNS and Zerigo DNS.
· This will hopefully be expanded in future releases with new drivers for providers such as Amazon and Rackspace.
