NetGameTrack is an open source Internet game listing/browser server and API. The project is aimed at those who are making a game and want it to be visible on the internet. It can be used as part of the "Host a server" functionality in a game as a means to advertise a game on the internet.
The design is intended to be as simple as possible. No steep learning curve is required. Just a simple piece of code to make your game visible on the web. The client, server and Administration GUI code are all included along with the SDK. Also included are the pre-compiled binaries for windows so you can get developing right away.
Linux users are well catered for as well as you get all the features that the windows users get! Check out the screen shots to see what the Administration GUI is like. This project is an OpenSource project and the source is covered by the LGPL License.
Here are some key features of "NetGameTrack":
· Linux server
· Linux and Windows client library (GCC, MINGW and VisualStudio2008 is supported)
· Linux and Windows Remote Management GUI for administering the server
· Easily configurable Server (via the Management GUI)
· For the server and client library components only gcc, mingw or VisualStudio2008 is required. To build the NetGameTrack Administrator GUI the Qt SDK is required.
