Agilefant answers the call for backlog management when spreadsheets meet their limits. If you are using agile or time-paced software development methods - or only some of the juiciest bits - you face the quest of linking your business strategies with daily work.
The long-term vision is that Agilefant supports your work all the way from product roadmapping and development portfolio management to daily work through project and iteration management levels. By 2010, Agilefant has in Finland replaced MS Excel as the current de-facto standard for backlog and/or development portfolio management.
This software is developed by the Software Process Research Group of the Helsinki University of Technology. It embodies the results and insights from some 50+ man-years of empirical software engineering research with tens of companies.
