It provides users with an easy to use and straightforward graphical user interface written with the help of the highly acclaimed Qt GUI toolkit, allowing users to quickly print documents, set various printer options, as well as to navigate between multiple sheets.
The application integrates with the printing system of your Linux distribution, which means that you will be able to virtually print documents from any application, simply by clicking the print button and selecting the “Boomaga” option.
Another interesting feature is the ability to print documents on both sides of the sheet, no matter if the physical printer supports duplex printing or not. In addition, you can specify if duplex printing is supported by the physical printer or not in the app’s options dialog.
Getting started with Boomaga
In a few seconds, the program will open and it lets users to view how the document will look like before it’s printed on a physical device. Multiple documents can be added on the same sheet, allowing users to print them all as one.
Additionally, a Booklet function is integrated into the application, allowing users to effortlessly create books by folding the sheets in two. Keep in mind that you will have to manually turn over the pages halfway through the printing process.
