OO Pinyin Guide is an OpenOffice.org extension that automatically adds pinyin transliteration over Chinese characters inside a text document. This tool can be useful for people learning or teaching Chinese.
Installing oopinyinguide:
Start OpenOffice, go to the menu "Tools->Extension Manager".
Then click "Add" and select the "oopinyinguide.oxt" file.
Restart OpenOffice.
The extension is available from its own toolbar and also from the
"Format"->"Pinyin Guide..." menu item.
Uninstalling oopinyinguide:
Start OpenOffice, go to the menu "Tools->Extension Manager",
select the "Pinyin Guide" extension, then click "Remove".
Then click "Add" and select the "oopinyinguide.oxt" file.
Restart OpenOffice.
