VidMasta For Linux

VidMasta is a platform-independent and freely distributed application designed to be used by anyone who wants to quickly and easily get detailed information about their favorite movies or the latest TV shows.

It supports the standard 720p and 1080p/1080i HD (High-Definition) video formats, as well as the classic HQ (High-Quality) DVD and TV 4:3 or 16:9/16:10 formats. You can whitelist or blacklist certain video file extensions, such as AVI, MKV, VOB, WMV, MPG, MPEG, MP4, MOV, M2TS, ISO, BIN, or RAR.

The graphical user interface is easy-to-use, allowing users to use profiles, set default download size, manage proxies, set default results per search, connection timeout settings, language, country, web browser start notification, as well as new HQ movies on startup.

The application includes support for downloading subtitle files for videos, watch trailers of selected titles, view movie or TV show plots, view IMDb ratings and release dates of titles, as well as to order search results by popularity (fully automatic).
