Minitube For Linux

From the creator of Musique, we’re welcome you to Minitube, a beautifully crafted application that has been designed from from the ground up to act as a native YouTube player for GNU/Linux platforms.

Among its highlights, we can easily mention support for HD (High-Definition) video clips that are magically grabbed from the official servers of the highly acclaimed YouTube website. It supports playback of both 1080p and 720p video streams.

The application allows the user can subscribe to certain channels and receive instant notifications for new videos. The YouTube streams can be played in full-screen and there’s no need to log into your YouTube account or create a new one in order to play video clips.
