    jdatestamp description

    jdatestamp is a command line utility to losslessly imprint date/time of a picture taken in a digital camera into its JPEG image.

    jdatestamp is a command line utility to losslessly imprint date/time of a picture taken in a digital camera into its JPEG image. Uses the EXIF header information to get the date/time, jpegtran with droppatch for lossless crop drop of date/time area.

    The datestamp is lossless. You can choose the Location, font, pointsize, color, date format, vertical orientation and optional automatic color selection for date text. You can also batch process multiple images with a single command.

    Requirements:

    · GNU compiler gcc and GNU make
    · jpeg6-b source from IJG with Guido's droppatch for crop'n'drop support. The libraries are also required for compilation of Jdatestamp.
    · Freetype2 source 2.1.7 or later.
    · jhead utility 1.9 or later which reads EXIF header from jpeg files.
