Xpdf-intl is a patched version of Xpdf with support for localization using gettext. Xpdf is a viewer for Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

That means: you could use xpdf in your language.

Currently there are several translations in progress: Dutch, French, Spanish, Turkish, etc.

Feel free to support and help this by translating xpdf into your language!

Installation:

XPDF-intl must be compiled with an ANSI C++ compiler like gcc.

Those following librairies are required:

- motif or lesstif
- freetype 2

On most systems the commands below will do the job:

./configure
--prefix=/usr
--with-freetype2-includes=/usr/include/freetype2/
make
make install

Take a look on INSTALL file to get more details. Main program is "xpdf".

What's New in This Release:

· A patch was applied to fix a security hole.
· Some translations have been added.
