Synpic 1.0

Synpic is a ray tracer. It features a rich 3D procedural description language, and also understands a number of other input languages.

Developer comments

I started writing it in 1984, and have been tinkering with it ever since.
The ray tracer can handle a variety of quadric surfaces, and a few planar objects, and circular tori. Reflection and refraction are supported.
The description language is fully procedural, with a rich set of geometric types to make descriptions simpler.
